Stray Kids, releases 2nd full-length album 'NOEASY' and title track 'Sounder' on August 23rd

    - After winning 'Kingdom', their first album in 2021, Stray Kids is in full swing! Aiming for the music industry with their new album 'NOEASY', which all members wrote and composed!

    - The title track, "Sounder," is a message that represents the MZ generation! "I won't give up no matter what anyone says."

    - A total of 14 tracks including 'Ae' and unit songs that shine at the top of the US Billboard chart for the first time! Driving a solid wedge into the group's identity!

Stray Kids will release their second full-length album "NOEASY" on August 23, 2021.

After winning the final round of Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War" (hereinafter referred to as "Kingdom"), which ended in June, Stray Kids will be releasing their first album "NOEASY" this year to solidify their place in the K-pop mainstream. The group, who showcased the essence of the 'marathon genre' that is unforgettable once tasted, such as the title track '神メニュ' from their first full-length album 'GO生' and the title track 'Back Door' from their first full-length repackaged album 'IN生', will continue to grow in popularity with their second full-length album that doubles the flavor.

'NOEASY' is an album that continues STRAYKIDS' unique way of communicating with the world with new words beyond the framework of existing grammar. Boasting witty verbal play and verbal dexterity, they deliver a confident word to those who value other people's lives as the MZ generation.

The title track, "Yeller," combines the dual meanings of "nagger" who makes noise and "yeller" who sings into a single word, expressing the message that they will never give in to the nagging of others and will say what they need to say and stand their ground. The contrast between the naggers, who are constantly nagging, and StrayKids, who are the confident "shouters" who will not give in to the nagging and say what they have to say and continue to make their own music.

The visuals of STRAYKIDS, which have earned a reputation as a 'concept restaurant' by presenting a bold and fresh style, are also worth noting. The eight members - Bangchan, Reno, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Phyllix, Seungmin, and I.N. - deliver an atmosphere full of energy, wit, and relaxation, and visually embody the charm of the new song. The music video for "Sounder" captures the dynamic beauty of traditional colors such as court music, traditional festivals, and Bukcheong Sajatal, and uses animated transitions and visual special effects to create a sense of scale.

The new album features the intro track "CHEESE," followed by the title track, "Shout," "DOMINO," "SSICK," "The View," "Sorry for liking you," "Silent Cry," "Unspeakable Secret," and "Star Lost. The album includes 14 songs in total, including unit songs "Compulsion" (Bangchan, Hyunjin), "Surfin'" (Reno, Changbin, Phyllix), "Gone Away" (Han, Seungmin, Aien), and "WOLFGANG" (Wolfgang), which was featured in the final round of Mnet's "Kingdom," as well as their digital single "Ae," which was released on June 26 and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales Chart in the U.S. on July 10.

All members of STRAYKIDS, including 3RACHA, are listed in the credits of the new album, solidifying their status as a 'self-producing group'. In addition, they collaborated with leading domestic and international writers such as VERSACHOI, Krysta Youngs, HotSauce, and Hong Jisang to enhance the album's completeness.

STRAYKIDS' previous album "IN生" achieved the highest debut (first week of sales on the day of release) on the Hater Chart, and was recently ranked as the No. 1 artist within four years of debut with the highest social metrics increase in the first half of the year on Hater Global K-Pop Report, demonstrating their explosive growth in popularity both domestically and internationally. Their second full-length album "NOEASY" is a major milestone and a powerful wedge in the group's identity and ascendancy, allowing STRAYKIDS to satisfy the five senses of K-pop fans around the world and solidify their status as a "representative group of the fourth generation.
