DAY6 unit Even of Day will release 'The Book of Us : Gluon - Nothing can tear us apart' on August 31st.

DAY6, which has colored listeners' daily lives with music by singing every moment, has formed its first unit five years after its debut.

The three-member unit, consisting of Young K, Wonpil, and Doun, will officially debut on the last day of August 2020 with the release of 31 new songs.

DAY6 (Even of Day) is the name of the group that JYP Entertainment CEO Park Jin Young himself chose.

Park Jin Young was inspired by the English word 'even', which means 'night', and incorporated the meaning of 'day' coming after 'even' into the unit's name.

He expressed his ambition to sing music that touches the heart with the message that he will finally face a bright day after crossing a deep and dark night.

'The Book of Us : Gluon - Nothing can tear us apart' is an album that borrows the physics name 'Gluon'. Starting from the meaning of 'Gluon' as a particle that mediates strong interactions, the song expresses the irresistible and powerful attraction.

The subtitle, "Nothing can tear us apart," conveys the poignant truth that "we are united by the strongest force.

The title track, "Until the End of the Wave," expresses the wish to stay together until the end of the wave of happiness and sadness on the ocean called life.

With lyrics such as "Endure the rough waves that are coming, don't let go of my hand even in the dark, don't let go of my hand until the rain and wind stop, stay by my side, because when the morning comes in the silence, it will be like a dream," they convey their determination to go through the rough winds together.

Unlike previous DAY6 albums, DAY6 (Even of Day) has been transformed by including 'Intro', 'Interlude', and 'Outro' tracks in the new album.
