WJSN, a pure and mysterious girl group, invites you to the fairytale world of Neverland. It's a new story of the group that has made a strong impression with various variations, from 'La La Love', which revealed a seductive appearance in the background of carnivals and circuses, to 'Boogie Up', a summer song that hit the summer coolly, to 'Iri', which exuded powerful energy and intense girl crush. "Neverland" is also a story that represents the current state of mind of the members of WJSN. They adapted a page from a fairy tale, added their own storytelling, and told an 'adult fairy tale' that is not lighthearted. The confusing feelings that a girl goes through in the process of becoming an adult, and the rite of passage, are at the center of the story. It is a new song that can only be heard in the present moment that will be remembered beautifully even after the painful process.

WJSN's "Neverland" contains the tender heart of a girl who dreams of true freedom, even if it's not glamorous. It's a fairytale story about the world of dreams and reality from the perspective of Tinker Bell, who is left alone in Neverland after Peter Pan leaves. By developing a new story on top of a familiar source material, another world of space girls was revealed that everyone could relate to. It is a visual fantasy that can only be shown by a space girl who is colorful, pure, and mysterious, making her even more mesmerizing. The clear setting that encompasses music, styling, visuals, and performance is more detailed and specific. The elements planted throughout are interesting and entertaining enough to add to the drama. The unique worldview and colorful concepts that combine all of these will show the side of the space girl who has grown a step further.

'I'm free even if I'm not colorful, I'll fly higher even if I get hurt a little'. Everyone waver between fairytale ideals and inconsistent reality. And in order not to become weak in that anxiety, we make uncertain choices and fight fierce battles for freedom. Through this song, WJSN wanted to convey her determination to never let go of hope, even if the fairy tale in her imagination is inconsistent with reality.

The title track "BUTTERFLY" compares a girl's dream of freedom to the fluttering of a butterfly's wings, and tells the story of a girl growing up and finding her true self amidst her shaky ego. The fairy tale imagination that is the main theme of the album is impressive, and the lightness that overwhelms the audiovisuals and the immersive storyline make it appealing like never before.

Starting with the title track "BUTTERFLY," the album contains six songs, including "HOLA," "Pantomime," "Where You Are," "Tra-la," "Fireworks," and "Our Garden," which are all lyrically colorful and anticipate the next step of WJSN's career. 'Butterfly' was produced by hit maker GALACTIKA *, who has produced numerous hits with top artists such as GOT7, TWICE, and Wanna One, and was composed by composers from various genres, including KZ, the composer of the previous album 'Iri', and Full8loom, a top-notch composing team that has been working with WJSN for a long time.

The high level of participation of members EXO and SeolA in the album also stands out. EXO contributed their own song "Fireworks (Tra-la)" along with rapping the entire song, and SeolA contributed her own song "Our Garden". EXO has shown off their diverse range by releasing several self-written songs, and SeolA, the team's main vocalist, has released her first self-written song since her debut, which is expected to further solidify the group's capabilities.

WJSN's fantasy is still alive and well with interesting concepts and stories. This time, they reinterpreted the themes of fairy tales to create interest and deliver a variety of listening and viewing experiences.
