E'LAST 5th Mini Album [Versus]
- E'LAST(엘라스트) releases their 5th mini album [Versus].
- Title track 'Crazy TRain'...
E'LAST's funky new look!
- Breaking away from the conventional image...Exuding charm with a different concept
In 2024, E'LAST, who showed the completion of the group's symbolism and worldview narratIVE through their first full-length album [Everlasting], is making a comeback with their fifth mini album [Versus].
The title of E'LAST's fifth mini album, “Versus” is the original meaning of “VS,” which is commonly used in competition situations, and is an album that departs from the mature and intense image of E'LAST while capturing the process of finding and developing the real “me” through competition with the “other me” within or goodwill competition between E'LAST members.
The title track “Crazy Train” starts with a cheerful whistling sound, and features a funky guitar sound and a dazzling bass sound, with a fast-paced and exciting rhythm and E'LAST's energetic vocal harmonies and intense performance that enhance the song's charm.
Other songs include “Gotham,” which shows E'LAST's dark charm with a dreamy synth sound and harsh, rhythmic vocals, and “Emergency,” which features members Wonhyuk and Wonjun participating in rap-making and combines technical rapping with a familiar oriental-style melody, 'Drive', which is a city-pop style song with a light melody and lyrics that creates a sense of comfort, and 'Misery', which is a medIUm-tempo song with a subtle piano comping and classical guitar melody.
It is expected that E'LAST will show a new look by finding the real 'me' that was latent through the fifth mini album [Versus].
