IU’s 3rd MINI PLUS ALBUM [REAL+]

As of 2011, IU, who has surpassed the music industry and shaken up Korea with her critically acclaimed songs, continues the “IU Syndrome” with the release of her third mini plus album [REAL+].

The title track of [REAL+] is Yoon Sang’s “A Story Only I Knew,” a minor ballad that combines Yoon Sang’s unique nostalgic chordwork and melody. The song’s differentiated structure and instrumental arrangement makes it unique from other minor ballads, and the simple yet beautiful scale of the REAL instruments perfectly harmonizes with IU’s understated voice. Unlike IU’s previous songs, which sang about her vivaciousness and innocence, “A Story Only I Knew” shows IU’s more mature emotions and detailed song interpretation.

The piano versions of saintbinary’s works ‘Cruel Fairy Tale’ and ‘A Story Only I Knew’ are included here.

This new album [REAL+] is an album where you can once again feel the presence of IU, who is throwing great significance into the music industry as a solo singer.
