In 2013, top singer IU is making a comeback with her third studio album.

IU’s third album, “Modern times,” was completed after a total of nine months of production under the leadership of producer Cho Young-cheol. The album is filled with a wide variety of music including jazz, bossa nova, swing, Latin pop, and folk.

The album contains 13 tracks, including “Between the Lips,” “Eul’s Love Affair,” “Everyone Has a Secret,” “Pink God,” “Modern Times,” “Bad Day,” “Obliviate,” “Walk With Me,” “Havana,” “Depression Clock,” “Midday Dream,” “Wait,” and the bonus track “Voice Mail.

In particular, as IU’s third studio album is her comeback after a year and five months, the tracklist of the album includes an ultra-luxury, cross-generational lineup of featured artists, including Choi Baekho, Yang Hee-eun, Cain, SHINee’s Jonghyun, and Park Joo-won, raising expectations for the new album to a new high.

In addition, IU’s two self-written songs on the album, “Hateful Day” and “Voice Mail,” as well as her participation in the writing of “Eul’s Love” and “Wait,” helped her grow musically and change into “IU the musician.
