NOWADAYS 1st Single [NOWADAYS]

Cube Entertainment's first boy group in about eight years, NOWADAYS, makes its first appearance in the music industry with its first single, "NOWADAYS.

"NOWADAYS" expresses the group's ambition to provide special memories and memories to the public and fans who are curious about the "NOW" and the "DAYS" they will create together in the future. The group name, which is also connected to the logo motion of "NOW, A _____ DAYS," which was released before the debut, also conveys the message of a confident newcomer who will be able to handle various concepts and show newness and flexibility without being confined to a mold.

NOWADAYS, consisting of five members Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and SiYoon, emphasizes their boundless charm and their identity as a group that will be with you in all your days while establishing their own DAYS-POP genre.

Their debut title track "OoWee" blends soulful melodies with hip-hop elements, while the 808 bass groove drives the song's flow addictively. Especially in the music video, NOWADAYS, the bad boys who transformed into the Anti Love Squad, are portrayed in the most adorable and delightful way. In a world where love is a sin and Cupid is the enemy, NOWADAYS is wary of the excitement of first love and tries to catch Cupid. However, in the end, they embrace the emotion of 'love' as the only light in a bleak world, and express the moment they fell in love while being hit by Cupid's arrow with their own trendy catchphrase, 'OoWee'.

'NOW' is a breakbeat song with hybrid EDM elements over a dynamic bassline that has attracted the attention of many global fans since its debut with its thrilling sprinting energy and powerful performance. The five members take the stage at the beginning of their dream journey, grabbing the key to the opportunity to fulfill their dreams and conveying their strong ambition to head towards an endless tomorrow.

The final track, "TICKET," is a pop song that will capture the hearts of those who want to leave their boring daily lives behind and go somewhere. Starting with the sound of an airplane notification, the elements reminiscent of an airplane taking off and landing add to the immersion of the song.

In addition, members Jinhyuk and Siyoon participated in the lyrics of "OoWee" and "TICKET," which enhanced the completeness of the debut album. This not only shows the musical potential of NOWADAYS, but also stimulates expectations for the new generation DAYS-POP genre that will be introduced to the public.
