JYP Entertainment's (JYP) girl group NiziU will release their Korean debut single "Press Play" on October 30th.

Formed in June 2020 through the global audition project "Nizi Project," a collaboration between JYP and Sony Music Entertainment, NiziU consists of nine members: Mako, Riku, Rima, Rio, Maya, Mihi, Mayuka, Ayaka, and Nina. Their pre-debut digital album "Make you happy" and the title track of the same name became the first female artist to simultaneously top three digital rankings (Oricon Digital Album, Digital Single, and Streaming Weekly Chart) before their official debut, marking their emergence as a "super rookie," and most of their subsequent releases have topped major local charts such as Oricon and Billboard Japan, establishing them as a "hottest girl group.

From July to September of this year, NiziU held their second solo tour, "NiziU Live with U 2023 "COCO! nut Fes."" (NiziU Live with U 2023 "Coconut Fes."), which consisted of 15 sold-out shows across seven regions in Japan. Then, on September 17 and 18, the group held "NiziU Live with U 2023 "COCO! nut Fes." -Stadium Special-" and successfully held its first solo stadium performance, proving its popularity once again.

NiziU, who has shown solid growth since her local debut in Japan, will make her official debut in Korea in October with the release of her single album "Press Play". Shin Bo Myung was inspired by the game's opening phrase, "Press Play," and heralds the start of a new chapter for NiziU that is even more exciting than the game. The group, who have mesmerized global fans with their endearing charm and outstanding performance skills, will be releasing their first single album in Korea, marking a milestone in their career.

The new album will include three songs, including the title track "HEARTRIS," "Lucky Star," and "Paradise (Korean Ver.). 'Lucky Star' is the first song to be released alongside the title track and is filled with NiziU's positive energy to convey a message of comfort and support. "Paradise (Korean Ver.)" is the Korean version of the title track of the same name from Stray Kids' fifth single "Paradise," which was released in Japan in March of this year, and was composed and produced by 3RACHA's production team Bangchan, Changbin, and Han, with lyrics by K-pop star composer Shim Eunji.

The trailer, which premiered on October 2, opened NiziU's mysterious new stage with a refreshingly eerie vibe that caught fans' attention. After being sucked into a game with corrupted sound storage, the members set out to find a way to get the game back to normal. While wandering through the woods, they stumble upon a switch in a hole in the ground that can fix the sound. As the mysterious bears secretly watch the smiling members with their hearts lit up, all eyes are on NiziU's next big move in Korea with the exciting start signal 'Press Play'.
