ITZY will release their new mini-album ‘Girls Will Be Girls’ and the title track of the same name on June 9.
ITZY has solidified their position as the ‘K-pop performance queens’ by captivating fans with their solid skills and diverse charms. Following their mini-album ‘GOLD’ and title tracks ‘GOLD’ and ‘Imaginary Friend’ in October 2024, ITZY will release a new album and song in June 2025, approximately eight months later, showcasing their unique bond.
The new album “Girls Will Be Girls” embodies ITZY’s strong bond, which becomes even stronger when they are together. The trailer video, produced in a drama-style format by renowned advertising director Yoo Gwang-hyung, depicts the members’ journey to revive Ryu Jin’s stopped heart, sparking buzz. Additionally, JYP’s representative producer Park Jin-young (J.Y. Park) made a surprise appearance, playing a pivotal role in the early part of the video. The members’ refined visuals, acting skills, and beautiful performances were captured in the trailer, heightening anticipation for their first comeback in 2025. ITZY, which has painted the group’s unique color with confident energy, progressive messages, and original concepts, conveys a brilliant narrative with “our solidarity” as the theme of their new album.
